Take-Two Interactive Software has announced today occurance of the Private Divison label, which can publish, among other titles, the subsequent Obsidian Entertainment RPG.
The Private Division label will publish titles manufactured by top independent developers, it will the support they have to make their titles commercially successful using a global scale.
Private Division will publish several upcoming titles determined by new IP from renowned industry creative talent, including the previously announced Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey from Panache Digital Games, a studio led by way of the creator of your Assassin’s Creed franchise Patrice Dsilets; an unannounced RPG currently codenamed Project Wight within the Outsiders, a studio founded by ex-DICE developers David Goldfarb and Ben Cousins; an unannounced RPG from Obsidian Entertainment led by Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, co-creators of Fallout; plus an unannounced sci-fi first-person shooter from V1 Interactive, a studio founded by Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto. Additionally, Private Division will be the publisher for Kerbal Space Program, which Take-Two acquired in May, 2017.
Obsidian Entertainment next RPG being authored by Private Division promises to be huge, because it is being put together by the initial Fallout creators Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky. Much more about the work shall be revealed at some future date, but Tim Cain notes how players will adore their new game if they love reactive worlds and typical variety of humor.
