Bungie has released Destiny 2 patch 1.1.1.1 allows ‘vanilla’ Destiny 2 players gain access to a few content once again.
As covered yesterday, Bungie promised to liberate a hotfix allowing players that do not own the Curse of your Osiris expansion, to get into the Prestige “Leviathan” Raid, NightFall, and Trails one more time. This update would basically take out the ‘paywall’ that Bungie introduced from the game’s first DLC.
“The Prestige Raid was really a novel experience that players value, whether or not it doesn’t own Curse of Osiris, also it would have been a mistake to go that experience out from reach”, Bungie wrote. “Throughout the lifetime of the Destiny Franchise, Trials has always needed that players owned the most recent Expansion. However, for Destiny 2, Trials in the Nine launched during the main game, making it not right for people like us to cut out having access to it.”
This patch, named ‘the one after Curse of Osiris’, has now been released on all platforms and we’ve included full patch notes below.
