The Xbox One X isn’t the only real new hardware option caused by Microsoft this fall. Today for the Xbox at Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany, this company announced three new hardware options including a Minecraft-themed Xbox One S.
The unique Minecraft console features an abundance of touches that fans within the game are sure to love. Designed to aesthetically mimic the grass block, the top console provides the unmistakable, low-res Minecraft art style. The console also features Redstone circuit accents on the base, Minecraft system sounds, as well as a verticle stand. The bundle carries a copy of Minecraft with all the Redstone pack, a 1 hour TB disk drive, plus a controller designed about the common but problematic Minecraft-nemesis, the Creeper, having a TNT crate about the back battery cover.
The console currently is designed for pre-order and will also be available at retail on October 3. Another exclusive edition pink controller will likely be offered on the day that and has the Minecraft pig face for the front and tail around the back.
Microsoft also announced two new bundles that are included with Middle-earth: Shadow of War. While this bundle doesn’t feature any special branding for any game, both the bundles will include the common white Xbox One S (either 500 GB or 1 TB HDD), a duplicate of Middle-earth: Shadow of War, the power in-game items?Legendary Champions War Party and the Epic Sword of Dominion, a 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial, as well as a 1-month trial to Xbox Game Pass. The bundle can be purchased for pre-order now and will launch while using game on October 10.
